Unauthorized Entry and/or Use

Students may not enter restricted-access locations without prior approval or trespass on property, on or off campus. To respect the property and privacy of others, students may not enter residential rooms, offices, laboratories, rooftops, athletic fields or courts, or other University spaces not generally open to the public without express authorization. Students are also expected to access and exit spaces through designated entrances and exits only (e.g., students should not use residence hall windows for entry or exit).

Additionally, unauthorized use of personal or University property—including, but not limited to, identification cards, cellphones, computers, construction equipment, or golf carts—is prohibited. This includes using property without the owner’s permission, in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose, or in violation of expectations related to University sponsored travel.
