Smoke-Free Campus

Vanderbilt University is a smoke-free campus and all students are subject to the Smoking, Tobacco and e-Cigarettes Policy. Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, etc., are prohibited on all Vanderbilt-owned and lease property, including University residence halls and Greek chapter houses.

Locations of designated smoking areas for students, faculty, staff and campus visitors may be found on the “Smoking Locations” online map available on the Facilities webpage. Designated smoking areas are marked by cigarette disposal urns.

Greek organizations may elect to designate outdoor smoking areas on their house grounds.
