Due to the danger that intoxicated persons pose to themselves and to others, as well as to the disruption that intoxication can bring to the living/learning community, intoxication, regardless of age, is prohibited. Standard
indicators of drinking or other drug use to the level of intoxication may include, but are not limited to, lack of balance, loss of coordination, loss of consciousness, slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, dilated or constricted pupils, foaming of the mouth, paranoia, odor of intoxicant, nodding out, excessive scratching, change in skin color (lighter skin turns bluish-purple and darker skin turns grayish or ashen), and behavioral changes, such as erratic actions, confusion, aggression, rudeness, recklessness, or overt friendliness.
